Shaped Discs: Fear Of The Dark Live 1993 shaped disc with backing card sleeve.

Spectacular this shaped disc for the Fear Of The Dark Live single released in 1993. Its one of my favourite items. This particular copy is miss pressed, on the B side instead of Hooks In You recorded live at Wembley Arena December 17th 1990, we can hear Tail Gunner recorded also at that same date.
The sleeve is a backing card, on the front, top left, we have the Maiden logo and bellow the serial number of this pressing, and at top right the name of the song. On the back there is a huge Donington stage photo as background with the song titles and the UK Real Live Tour dates.

Picture discs: The Number Of The Beast 1982 LP picture disc in plastic sleeve.

This was the very first picture disc that Maiden produced. Don't you guys let be wrong by bootleg pictures discs that are making the rounds on Ebay and other several web record shops, they are fake although some even have the EMI logo.In this year they also produced the first 7' vinyl in picture disc format for Run To The Hills single. This picture is the UK pressing but there is also a USA official release with the same colours and probably , I risk to say, with an extra track for Total Eclipse, since it was a tradition in the eighties the USA Maiden albums have a extra song.

Cat.nº: UK EMCP 3400

Picture discs: Run To The Hills 7' inch picture disc single in plastic sleeve.

A great item to have in our collection this Run To The Hills 1982 single in 7' picture disc, the first one ever made in this format. On the B side there is a photo which was the first ever photo shooting with the new kid on the block, Bruce Dickinson.
On the B side there is the Total Eclipse song, a wrong decision, in my modest opinion, should have been Gangland instead.

Songs are:

Side A: Run To The Hills, album version .
Side B: Total eclipse.

Cat.nº: UK EMIP 5263

Picture discs: Piece Of Mind 1983 LP picture disc in plastic sleeve.

This one is also very expensive to buy, even on Ebay, but its a hell of a picture disc, I love it!!

The A side artwork is the Eddie used for the posters to promote the World Piece Tour 1983 and the B side artwork is the one used on the labels of most Piece Of Mind LP's.

Powerslave picture disc is a very impressive one, and its not cheap to buy one, even on Ebay.
This one , unfortunately is miss pressed, on the B side, in just one song and for 2 or 3 seconds the disc starts to play at 45 rotations, nothing serious.

Cat.nº: UK EJ 24 02000

Picture discs: 2 Minutes To Midnight 12' inch picture disc single in plastic sleeve.

Picture disc for 2 Minutes To Midnight single. In my opinion its one of the best artwork made for Maiden, and on this particular tour Derek Riggs made some of the best Eddies ever made, not only for the singles and album sleeves, but also posters etc.I like so much of this Eddie, those fingers pointing to you...I mean, its scary!!!
On the B side there is one track, Mission From 'Arry, which is so funny to hear, if you wanna know what's this buy the Live After Death DVD, they explain you, eheheheh!!!

This picture disc made for the single Aces High is also one of my favorites. On the B side you can see a plane crashing to the ground and someone saving himself in a parachute, maybe Eddie? eheheheheh!! On the B side you can read: "I shoot The Fock" . Songs are:

Side A: Stranger In A Strange Land , studio version .
Side B: That Girl and Juanita .

Cat.nº: UK 12 EMIP 5589

Picture discs: Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son 1988 LP picture disc with backing card sleeve and banner with just the Maiden logo.

You have to have this vinyl, its amazing, really one of the most beautiful.
Comes with a backing card sleeve, black on front saying: Limited Edition Picture Disc With Exclusive Iron Maiden Banner. On the back has the Seventh Son artwork. The banner is just from plastic with the Iron Maiden logo in a blue background.
For the ones that don't know there is a super rare Italian edition of this picture disc but comes in a die cut blue sleeve with a poster from the Modena Monsters Of Rock Festival 1988 , plus a sticker, very hard to find and expensive.

Cat.nº: UK EMDP 1006

Picture discs: No Prayer For The Dying 1990 LP picture disc in die cut sleeve.

The 1990 studio album No Prayer For The Dying was released in UK in picture disc, AGAIN, one of my favourite. The sleeve is in die cut format and on the back there are some very cool band members live photos.
Songs on the album are the same as all the cd and vinyl editions.

Cat.nº: UK EMDPD 1017

What can I say, I love them all, eheehh!!Another beautiful picture disc made for the first single Holy Smoke taken from the No Prayer For The Dying album 1990.The song goes around that American shit of TV priests begging for cash donations...to buy then cars and stuff like that, the song is wonderful.
Brings a backing card sleeve with the lyric of the song and the 1990 UK tour dates on the back.
I have also to say that is because of this song that today I'm an Iron Maiden collector, HELL YEAHHHHHHHH!!!!

Songs are:

Side A: Holy Smoke album version.
Side B: All In Your Mind and Kill Me Ce Soir.

Cat.nº: UK 12 EMPD 153

Guys, this is the most funny picture disc and one of the best editions Maiden ever made. Hallowed Be Thy Name Live 1993 is one of the most beautiful picture discs ever made by Maiden. The artwork is Eddie killing Bruce, Bruce at that time was leaving the band to pursue a solo career.
It comes in a plastic sleeve with a backing card with photo and credits.
This picture disc is not one of the most easy to get a hold on, but its well worth the money you pay.
