US 2003 slip case cardboard re-issues. Released just in the USA by Sanctuary and Metal Is.Complete set of 14 Cd's.

This editions were released in 2003 just in the States by Sanctuary and Metal Is. The extra here basically its just a cardboard over cover with nothing extra, just the Metal Is and Sanctuary logo. The Cd's, songs, artwork and booklets are the same as the 1998 and 2002 vinyl replica editions, no more no less, apart to the fact that they also included X Factor and Virtual XI ( they did the same on the vinyl replica Cd's). X Factor and Virtual XI don't have multi media section.
For a box and digipack maniac like me this is a great package, I love this stuff.

7' Promo vinyls: 1992 Wasting Love Spanish with different cover we are used to see.

Guys, I received while ago this amazing item. Its a Spanish promo vinyl for the Wasting Love song, made , produced and sent to radio stations just in Spain.
Now, you probably are thinking, hum...this is not the one I'm used to see on Ebay, right? RIGHT!!! For the ones who don't know there are two different versions of this amazing promo vinyl, the most common one is the one with just the white sleeve, the vinyl is the same on both editions, no more no less. But to ad some spice they made this one with a postcard on the sleeve, and on the back is a white sheet also glued with this writings: "Wasting Love, secret tour -93".
Also on the sleeve there is a promo stamp ( you can't see it because they glued the white sheet to the vinyl sleeve) that says in Spanish: "Disco promotional, muestra no vendible".
The song plays on both sides and apart of the names of the boys, Martin Birch, the title track and name of the band all the writings are in Spanish.
Adding this postcard on the sleeve we don't fell so naked when we have it in our hands, eheheheh!!! We almost feel that is a real single, it isn't boys and girls, its a promo vinyl, Wasting Love was released officially just in Cd, Holland press.
To confirm all this that I'm saying you can go the this amazing Iron Maiden site: www.troopersounds.com , enter on the site, click on promo vinyls , look for Wasting Love promo, and on the bottom of the page you can confirm all this, I'm not insane or senile you know, eheheeh!!!
The vinyl marks are: 006 1225707 - A+ B IN3 DOPOP
Now, boys and girls, did you understand all this? If you didn't well 'kin bad!!!!
I'm off, turilou!!!

7' Promo vinyls: Wrathchild 7' inch Japanese promo vinyl released in 1981. On the B-side has Genghis Khan.

Great this 7' inch Japanese promo vinyl. Released just in Japan in 1981, probably to promote the Maiden tour on that country, the first time they went there.
This is just a single sheet ( doesn't come in a normal single sleeve),with lyrics for the Wrathchild song in Japanese and English on the back side. The B-side plays Genghis Khan, these two songs were taken from the album, nothing extra here.On the label there are some Japanese writings, very interesting item although I would not give such great amounts of money for such an item like I'm used to see on Ebay, I think its not well worth it.
This one and the other bellow are the only Japanese 7' promo vinyls that I want to have , the 2 Minutes To Midnight and Prowler are crap.

7' Promo vinyls: The Evil That Men Do 7' inch Japanese promo with different colors. year: 1988.

Well guys, this great item is not part of the official single discography, its a 7' inch promo vinyl, and was just released in Japan in 1988 to promote the Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son album.
The sleeve is in black and white with Iron Maiden logo and the Japanese writings in red colour.
Well, I have to say that I was a bit disappointed because its just a single sheet, not a normal 7' sleeve, and I didn't knew that, but ok, its a very interesting item , even so. The vinyl has on both sides the same song. On the back side of the sheet there is the lyrics in English and Japanese.

Official Fan Club Christmas cards

Christmas cards are also a great fun to collect, unfortunately in these days its not Derek Riggs who makes them but the Fan Club members themselves through a competition prize. Since 1980 until 1999 it was Derek who design
all this cards unless for the 1998 which was made by Synthetic Dimensions, if I'm not mistaken, this was the company who produced the Ed Hunter video game.
They start to make this stuff back in 1980 and the 80's are very difficult to find.
This cards are personally signed by all the band members with their unique Christmas wishes.

Cards from top to bottom: 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004, 2003, 2002, 2001, 2000, 1999, 1986, 1985.
