This is the fantastic 2010 official calendar and its back to his original size after the 2009 that was produced to be sold only on the Maiden shop. Thanks God that is available anywhere and in the original size since this last one curled a lot, although its a great calendar as you guys can see in the previous post.
As you saw already it brings artwork from the infamous SBIT World Tour 2008/09. Ops, not just from this tour, again, another mistake on a Maiden release, the artwork for January was made for the event shirt for India in the Summer Tour 2007, if I'm not mistaken.This artwork was made by the great Derek Riggs.
All the other artwork was made by Hervé Monjeaud including the arrangements on the Stranger In A Strange Land artwork, originally made for that single in 1986 by Derek.
The calendar features almost all the event shirts artwork, was a petty the Florida Eddie was left aside.
This calendar was bought in a great UK online shop, http://www.play.com/, this guys don't charge shipping costs to anywhere, really great. Another great option is buying on the official Maiden shop and you will receive for free the tour programme of the 4Th leg of the SBIT World Tour 2008/09.
The artwork of the front was made by Derek Riggs for the artwork featured on the vinyl picture disc, Cd and DVD.And again is full of details, we see the football ball, relating to Steve harris, Racquet tennis relating to Steve and Adrian, we see Edison ( artwork made by Derek for Bruce 2007 solo album Accident of Birth), near Bruce on the cockpit, and many many other details, its really great.
