Guys, I received while ago this amazing t-shirt from the infamous Somewhere Back In Time World tour 2008.
This shirt was made for the 6 shows Maiden gave in Canada in the second leg of the tour. Shows were in this cities: Vancouver June 3, Calgary June 5, Edmonton June 6, Regina June 8, Winnipeg June 9 and Montreal June 21.
Now, this shirt has a story. Hervé Monjeaud, the French artist who made all the event t-shirts for this tour, painted Eddie playing hockey with the red uniform of the Canadian National team, I think, and on the Eddie shirt there's the official logo of the team, Maiden, sadly didn't ask permission to use that logo, the Canadian authorities at Winnipeg venue find out, didn't like it at all and pulled out the rest of it, fortunately by this time they were almost sold out.
After this, to compensate this mistake, Maiden made again the t-shirt, this time the Eddie uniform was blue ( this one was just sold at Montreal venue), and instead of the previous logo Hervé painted the eye of Horus, the symbol you see in this photo bellow.
I have to say that I fall in love for this shirt once it came out, its so damn cool, I simply love it, this on Ebay sometimes go for 300 Dollars, mine cost me 198 Dollars with shipping costs included.
The back side is so cool, its Eddie with the hockey disc in his mouth inside the Canadian logo flag, ehehe... The front of the shirt is obviously based on the Seventh Son and Eddie artwork and behind Eddie you can see a Canadian city, Toronto, completely frozen, awesome!!!!!
