This is the second time that Billboard magazine release a special issue 100% dedicated to Maiden, first time was in 1985 and is posted here in this section. But was the first time in the history of this mag that they honour Maiden altering the mag font style and putting it with the Maiden font, wow, top this Metallica!!! Eheheheheh!!!
The mag is great, basically it a mag with loads of thanks from every most persons and companies that worked with them over this 30 years. It brings loads of paintings of French artist Hervé Monjeaud, and also some good reviews and a great interview to Bruce.
There is a list of apparently , every Maiden gig since 1980, but those dates were based on the tour programmes info, and as you guys know when tour programmes are made dates are still being added to the tour, in the majority of the cases they always have just the first four or five months. It annoys me a lot because the persons who are going to read it are going to think that Beast On The Road 1982 had just fifty something gigs, as well as the Seventh Son tour 1988 with just 41 dates ( strange because on the tour programme all the dates of the tour are there) and Ed Hunter Summer tour 1999 with just 12 dates, don't understand how this mistakes can happen, especially because this mag was elaborated with the help of bands management, Phantom Music Management Ltd.
Forget this last sadly details and buy this mag, its very interesting.
